This is the first year that the Sylvan Lake Summer Hockey Camp is offering a session specifically designed for the female player. We invite you and your family and friends to Sylvan Lake for what we can Assure you will be a memorable Summer Hockey Experience.




The 1st annual Sylvan Lake Summer Hockey Camp for Women and Girls is preparing for another year and this summer our 2008 program is making many noteworthy and innovative changes to ensure that our students are offered the latest training, teaching programs and techniques not only in basic hockey fundamentals but as well expanding our focus on the female game.

All drills and programs are geared to the students age and comprehension level to allow a positive fun hockey experience. Although it sounds like a full week of hockey, the schedule does provide ample time for one to take full advantage of Sylvan Lake's majestic summer atmosphere.

   

THE PROGRAM
The concept of the Sylvan Lake Summer Hockey Camp for females is to combine a solid fundamental Hockey Training Program, with all the holiday fun a major Summer Resort can offer.

Two, one and a half hour workouts per day provide time for a sequential on ice training program that consists of all skating balance and agility fundamentals, puck control, passing, shooting and team play concepts. A full goaltending program is also part of the package. Included as well are daily off-ice sessions.

Although it sounds like a full week of hockey, the schedule does provide ample time for one to take full advantage of Sylvan Lake's majestic summer atmosphere.
