GOLF COURSES The Sylvan Lake area is blessed with four fine golf courses and one exciting par 3 course to serve every type of golfer. Sylvan Lake Golf & Country Club 
This 18 hole course is one of Central Alberta's most popular tracts. A new Clubhouse and Pro Shop is the centre of activity. The Tournament House facilitates groups of all kinds for any type of gathering or Special Event. They also have a fully serviced campground and RV Park located on the west end of the course.
Lakewood Golf Resort Located on the east end of town, this 9 Hole Par 36 course also has a new Clubhouse, Pro Shop, and Snack Bar. There are practice facilities and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Top 'O' the Hill Par 3 Course Located 2km NE on Highway 20, the Executive Par 3 - 9 Hole (1435 yard) course is a great family course. They also welcome company and group tournaments. MeadowLands Golf Course at Sylvan Lake Try and challenge Sylvan Lake's newest 18 holes on rolling parkland with plenty of sand and water. The 18 Hole, Par 72, 6496 yard course also features a 150 seat licensed restaurant, driving range, and Pro shop. Golf lessons are available and they also offer a Campground. This course is located on the junction of Highways 11 and 781, 1/2 mile south of town limits. SYLVAN LAKE MARINA Sylvan Lake Marina provides mariners and oarsmen alike launching and docking facilities. The Marina offers boat stall rentals for the summer and they also have winter storage. In addition to marine vessels, they offer a wide range of sporting goods, accessories and live bait. A "Boat and Bait" from the Sylvan Lake Marina will set your holiday on a pleasure course. SYLVAN LAKE GO KARTS AND MINI GOLF West of the Marina - The speed, thrills, and near spills of a go cart experience waits for you!! Rip around the safety tested track in a low to the ground mean machine!! 
WILDHORSE MOUNTAIN RANCH Located just 25 minutes west of Sylvan Lake, Wildhorse Mountain Ranch offers: girls residential, horse intensive and hands on ranch riding experiences. There are 9 weeks to choose from, ages 12 +. Trail rides all year long at the ranch and in season rides can be arranged in the mountains, west of Nordegg, AB.
